Syedna Mufaddal SaifuddinTUS called on the President of Pakistan in Islamabad where the President hosted a luncheon in his honour.

President Mamnoon Hussain underlined government efforts to maintain an environment of fraternity and peace amongst all sects in the country emphasizing that in this regard the role of the Ulema and religious scholars is very crucial.
The President expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Dawoodi Bohras headed by His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Tuesday.
The President stressed that virtues of tolerance and mutual respect between different schools of thought will ensure peace and prosperity in the country adding that all schools of thought should collectively strive for promotion of religious harmony.
President Hussain appreciated the participation and contribution of the Bohra community in boosting trade activity in the country. He also commended their services in education, health and social welfare work for the betterment of the people of the country.
The President, while talking to His Holiness, said that due to the sound policies of the present government, the country has progressed economically as acknowledged by International Financial Institutions (IFIs). The President stated that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a flagship project which upon completion will usher in unprecedented prosperity not only in Pakistan but the whole region. The President further said that with the completion of energy projects the country will be rid of electricity loadshedding by 2018.
His Holiness noted with appreciation that Pakistan has progressed and said that he holds Pakistan and its people very close to his heart.
President Hussain hosted a luncheon in honour of Syedna and his delegation which was attended by Leader of House in Senate Raja Zafar ul Haq, Minister for Planning & Development Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Petroleum & Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and delegates of the Bohra community.
